Silicone cloth (also known as silicone fireproof cloth) is a high-temperature resistant, high-strength glass fiber cloth as the base material, which is compounded by silicone rubber through a special process. It is a high-performance, multi-purpose new composite material.
Silicone fiberglass cloth has superior heat resistance (long-term 200C), cold resistance (long-term -40C), aging resistance, high strength, softness and cutting, and high insulation properties. It has been widely used in aerospace, chemical anti-corrosion, petroleum, large-scale power generation equipment, mechanical seals, metallurgy, electrical insulation, flexible pipe connections, construction and other industrial fields.
The main purpose:
1.Electrical insulation: Silicone cloth has a higher level of electrical insulation, can withstand high voltage loads, and can be made into insulating cloth, casing and other products.
2.Non-metallic compensator: Silicone cloth can be used as a flexible connecting device for pipelines. Silicone rubber coated glass fiber membrane structure material is used as the base material of flexible expansion joints. It can solve the damage of thermal expansion and contraction to the pipeline. High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, good elasticity and flexibility, and can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, cement, energy and other fields.
3.Anti-corrosion aspect: Silicone rubber coated glass fiber cloth, which can be used as a pipeline and internal and external anti-corrosion layer for storage. It has excellent anti-corrosion performance and high strength. It is an ideal anti-corrosion material.
4.Other fields: Silicone rubber coated glass fiber membrane structural materials can be used in construction sealing materials, high-temperature anti-corrosion conveyor belts, packaging materials and other fields.
Silicone cloth is also divided into single-sided silicone cloth and double-sided silicone cloth, in addition to high temperature curing silicone cloth and room temperature curing silicone cloth.
